Who are you?
Changing Gears
Tell us more.
Formed in 2007. Based in Dublin.  We’re a four piece. Everybody writes. Everybody sings. We swap instruments. We’re serious but we have fun and will probably be doing this forever. Watch out for our old folks home band in 50 years time!
What do you sound like?
Guitar based pop rock. We want you to tap your foot and stroke your chin. That musical spot where the brain and the crotch meet!
That it?
Loads of other sounds but we don’t like long lists.
No one does. So who’s in the band?
Eoin O’Donnell vox & guitar, Steve Power bass & vox, Colin Reid drums & vox and Ciara Moran on backing vox.
 So what have you done?
We released our debut album ‘The End’ in October 2010. Cover art was by critically acclaimed Mexican artist Betsabée Romero. It received some positive reviews from the likes of Hot Press and we got ourselves all over the radio.
Top of the charts?
Almost.
Any gigs?
We gig as often as possible and busk whenever the weather is nice. Highlight was being thrown out of a gazebo in St Stephen’s Green in Dublin. The large crowd booed the Park Ranger. Victory for Changing Gears!
What’s next?
We’re releasing an EP called “Don’t you Wish” March 2010. Swiftly followed by our second album.
